Chorleywood Orchestra
Founded in 2016 by Andrew McFarlane and Christine Deeley, Chorleywood Music is a community music society for classical musicians in Chorleywood and nearby villages.
The Chorleywood Orchestra currently has over 30 members and welcomes orchestral instrumentalists of all ages from grade 6+, including those who’ve not played for some time.
The orchestra chooses enjoyable and accessible music to play – changing their selection of pieces regularly to keep it interesting for everyone involved, and they present several concerts each year in Chorleywood and the surrounding areas. Recent concerts have included works by Dvorak, Beethoven, Butterworth, Mozart, Elgar and lots more.
Chorleywood Orchestra’s principal conductor is Daniel Hogan and their Associate Conductor is Ryan Bunce.
